Welcome to Butcher Pedals

image

Welcome to the new website. If you are coming here from my old site (Maritime Analog) then some of the content found here will be familiar. All pedals are built by hand in small batches from start to finish. High quality, value, great tone and flexibility are part of the foundation of Butcher Pedals and are found in every pedal produced. The pedals are available for sale at select dealers as well as being available directly from this website.

The Firing Link MKII fuzz is available once again and it had a brand new look. Powered by vintage Germanium transistors it has an awesome thick tone and it uses an industry standard negative ground power supply so there is no need for batteries or it's own power supply. Daisy chain it with the rest of your pedalboard.

Butcher Pedals is a small business on the east coast of Canada located in North Sydney, Nova Scotia. The business was originally called Maritime Analog and operated as such from February 2010 until September 2015 when I rebranded it into Butcher Pedals. Just like it was with Maritime Analog, Butcher Pedals is a one man show and my pedals are built in small batches by hand one at time. As for the pedals, I always try to put my own unique spin on them regardless of it is a original design or a re-interpretation of an old classic. I started messing about with electronics and pedals around 20 years ago and eventually that hobby ended up growing into a business in 2010. That business was originally planned to sell electronic components and parts for pedal building but while building and selling some pedals to raise the money to get it started the idea of the parts side of it ended up being abandoned and I just kept making pedals instead and Butcher Pedals is the end result of it.

Guarantee

I want you to be happy with your purchase and offer a 5 day satisfaction guarantee. You get five days to try any of our pedals to your liking and if you are not completely satisfied after 5 days you can return the pedal (in the exact same condition as sold) for a full refund (less all shipping costs). Custom build pedals are only subject to return due to warranty issues. Abuse, misuse, neglect, modifications, not following the directions or doing anything else stupid or irresponsible to the pedal will instantly void the guarantee and warranty.
You must contact Butcher Pedals first for a RAN (return authorization number) before shipping your pedal back and the RAN must be clearly visible on the return shipping box.
Refund will be issued only after pedal is returned and inspected and item must be in resalable condition upon return.
There is no extra fees for returns or restocking, however if a returned pedal arrives here in any condition other that how it was sold it will be subject to a percentage loss of refund value and/or voiding of the guarantee and warranty and you will be responsible for return shipping charges to you.
The buyer is responsible for any and all shipping charges for return shipping to Butcher Pedals. This includes any brokerage or customs fees if it is returned via courier (UPS, FedEX, DHL etc.) services.
Any extra shipping fees or charges incurred by Butcher Pedals upon the pedals return will be 100% deducted from your refunded amount.
B-Stock items, Closeouts, Discontinued, Retired pedals and Custom orders are exempt from the Guarantee and all sales are final on those items.
